I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to stop and have lunch. I said, "Are you sure, God? I do not have much money." And I was assured that I was supposed to be there. So in I went, sat, and had a meager $4.00 lunch.

While I was waiting on my food, an acquaintance from my church stopped in and sat with me. He asked how my family was doing after the death of my sister, and how I was doing. What did that mean? Is he thinking about it? Is he trying to ignore the request? No he simply did not receive the email that was sent. I think that he was stunned because no one had ever asked him for his daughters' hand; they just decided that they would get married. Well the short version of his answer was that the position at Robert's was not enough money to support his daughter, and there were several things that he would like to see happen before we could get married: Full time position with a company, intense pre-marital counseling, and working through a specific book - Ouch!
